Nightlife

Yesterday I had one very eccentric night outing because one of my friends Manuela proposed that we should - partly for her late birthday and Jordan's which was real soon. Well anyway... that karaoke restaurant we went to was pretty crap. The food was definitely not worth the $35 I had to fork out. Neither was the karaoke. Oh the infernal ringing in my head. So skip a few hours and eventually after enduring some random drunks and losing a few more people because they wanted to go home we ended up at Carnegies. Times like these I think I'm really out of atmosphere because I didn't enjoy the music - even though everybody else did, damn streamline rock/r&b music culture... Also, I was an idiot for ordering a Jack Daniel's unmixed. Apparently the bar chick told me they ran out of coke so I just went screw it and had a glass of just JD :| That kept my innards warm for quite some time. But yeah, the crowd wasn't so bad in here, though I still think I'm out of place.

After enduring much eardrum pounding the small group of leftovers that were us ventured back to Northbridge to catch a cab home. Manuela was ever complaining about her heels so Chris and I offered to carry her a while. Err, and actually we had to stop by a kebab shop because the consensus was that we were apparently hungry. The watch said around 3:30 am at this point. When we actually went to the taxi stop, the line was bloody huge! Definitely waited there for at least half an hour amidst pot smokers and drunks. But yeah, it was all downhill from there when Chris, Alas and I shared a cab. Poor mum, I should've at least let her know earlier I was going to be home at like... 4 am in the morning.

And the moral of the story kids, Michael isn't built for ~this~ sort of nightlife, I'm sure there are other kinds. And note to self, I'm going to spray Sarah with my deodorant next time... payback for stenching me with her perfume that had a grenade bottle - I swear it looked like a grenade.

Peace.
