Character #28

Still half-recovering from the awesomeness that was Wai-Con '10 a day or so back. It wouldn't of happened without all the good folk behind the organisation, to all the other volunteers helping alongside and everybody who came and made it that little bit special for somebody else on either day. Let's hope Wai-Con '11 will be just as epic - or even an ounce more!

And on other boring news, I'm still jobless and it very much looks like I'll be at university again this year writing another pile of madness scriptures. Doing bits and pieces for extra money in the meanwhile to make my wallet not frown at me.

Happy Australia Day by the way~

Peace.

Character #27

The recent weather in Perth has been absolute insanity. Constant meltdown happens as one leaves the comfort of an air-conditioned venue. But besides the icky weather, things have been progressing on a neutral wire. I really don't like playing the waiting game, it is nail-bitingly stressful.

Anyway, tonight's effort was an overdue visit to Niko's - character shaping inspired from browsing a few art books.

I hate juggling so many different tasks and hobbies at once. Maybe I should actually schedule things... It works in industry after all apparently.

Peace.

Creature #3

Happy extra-belated new year to all. Hoping 2010 serves up some interesting branches in life. Doing quite a bit of freelance work and reading up on PHP and Ruby lately. I also want to get back into picking up my Japanese texts to thaw out the rustiness. But it will have to wait a while. Oh the wonders of trying to manage so many hobbies and things outside work...

Tonight's effort was something a little new. A bit like going free form, but most of the art time goes into painting in Artweaver (a new Painter contender!) over random shapes made in Alchemy.

Peace.
