Oh man, I've been neglecting blogging for quite sometime now haven't I? But I can easily use my engineering vacation work as an excuse :p. But yeah, hope everybody's had a good festive season and all.

I knew I should've did a good rant on WAI-Con a week or so back. But put in a short summary, it was fantabulous hands down. I cosplayed as Hisagi Shuuhei from Bleach and yes I need another idea for next WAI-Con - 'cause it's fun!

In my semi-woozy state, I think that's all I can recall! So until then...

Being 'Professional'

Was supposed to post yesterday but I had the energy drained out of me.

So I officially started work yesterday.
I have to get up at around 6.15am each day, shoot out of the door at 6:45am for bus then training it to Fremantle before jumping on yet another bus. That's one and a half hours worth of transportation time.
Oh and I still feel awkward wearing a formalish getup everyday, doesn't feel like me.
Lots of names to remember. Lots.
I have my own office space, desk, telephone - with a number specifically assigned for me, computer, the works...
Sandwich shop down the road along the nice coastal strip.
Again lots of names to remember - and other things too as time progresses.

Oh and I did run into Mr. Johnny King from high school yesterday. Haven't seen him since... well high school! Looked like a seasoned mechanic!

Ok . Assuming that was still interpretable, I shall go sleep now.

Art Hiatus

Oh yes. I have been fuming mad lately because of several reasons:


1. First and foremost, the R4 flash-cart I ordered for my NDS Lite almost like THREE weeks ago still hasn't arrived.
2. Despite getting my HORI screen protector from Zheng today, the damned thing attracted air bubbles and dust pieces like crazy! Only the top screen film could be salvaged. The bottom is still there, but has an ugly scratch mark on it.
3. The UWA Virtual Universe Project is going to literally EAT all my spare time I would usually art with, leaving me no option but to go cold turkey on the tablet. (I should be doing more 3D modeling...)
4. I need to send off some more applications to other engineering companies for vacation work.
5. I need more money, hence I need to clock up more work hours, sleep more.
6. I NEED more sleep. Easier said than done.
7. Software Engineering Design mid-semester exam next week.
8. And the general feeling of feeling... well... mad!


Thus, I am not able to draw as often as I used to. T_T

Helena + Wisdom Teeth

Goodness me, it seems that getting all four wisdom teeth plucked out of my gum sockets left me with quite some pain. It was better straight after the op I think, because my jaw was basically numb from the local anaesthetic and I couldn't feel a thing. The pain is bearable at the moment though, hope it heals soon.

As for the swimsuit girl. Funny how when you take a step back, look at some of your own work that you realise that you've gotten all these anatomy issues wrong that you've never noticed beforehand! Two to be precise. The girl demos fixed issues that I would presumably used to do... Damn, I don't think I'll ever keep a consistent anatomy style.

So I finally met my so called niece today, little miss Julianne. She only brought along another friend with her so that made a three person party. So there I was, being regarded as an evil uncle that resembled good ol' Johnny boy who was placed into a bin once upon a time. -_- Dare I say I was offering some kind gestures too which were indirectly avoided! Luckily we did not go to karaoke, I would've strangled somebody to kingdom come if that happened... Oh well, at least she wasn't as evil as I thought she'd be, relief. Extremely tired.

So it was Dahlia's PJ party today for her birthday which was a few days ago. I... err, yes went in my PJs as well because it was made quite clear that I should lol. It was quite the crowd too! All these people... in their sleepwear, can't get more crowd-friendly than that. Anyway, Jordan offered to give a ride as usual and was like twenty minutes late as usual. There were some pretty funky people I met as well - most of them being med students... Oh and the food, yummy... But I bet we sure woke up the people who slept in around the neighbourhood with the music! Yes more good times indeed.

Ah I should really focus on studying, finding it hard for some obscure reason...
